Output length: 0 characters

Free online text repeater

The Text Repeater duplicates any word, phrase, or block of text as many times as you need — up to 10,000 copies — with full control over what goes between each one. Choose a new line, a space, a comma, no separator at all, or type your own custom separator. You can even number each copy automatically. Everything updates live as you type, right in your browser.

How to repeat text

  1. Type or paste the text you want to repeat into the first box.
  2. Set the Repeat count — how many copies you want (1 to 10,000).
  3. Pick a separator to place between copies, or choose Custom to enter your own.
  4. Tick Number each copy to prefix every copy with 1., 2., 3., and so on.
  5. Click Copy output to grab the result, or Clear to start over.

What can you use it for?

A text repeater is handy for creating test data and placeholder content, building numbered lists, padding out layouts, generating repetitive code or CSV rows, and having a bit of fun with chat messages. Once you have your text, run it through our Word Counter to check the total length, or generate longer filler with the Lorem Ipsum Generator.

Fast, private, and free

All the repeating happens locally in your browser, so nothing you type is ever uploaded or stored. For very large results the output is capped at two million characters to keep the page responsive — just lower the count if you hit the limit. There's no sign-up and no cost.

Frequently asked questions

How does the text repeater work?

Type the text you want to repeat, choose how many copies you need, and pick what should go between them. The repeated result is built instantly in your browser and updates live as you change any setting.

What separators can I put between copies?

You can separate copies with a new line, a space, a comma and space, or nothing at all. Choosing Custom reveals a small box where you can type your own separator, such as a pipe, dash, or any characters you like.

Can I number each repeated copy?

Yes. Tick “Number each copy” and every copy is prefixed with its position — 1., 2., 3., and so on. This is useful for building numbered lists or step-by-step content quickly.

Is there a limit to how much text I can repeat?

You can repeat up to 10,000 copies. To keep the page responsive, the output is capped at about two million characters — if a huge combination would exceed that, the result is clamped and a notice appears. Lower the count or shorten the text for the full output.

Is my text sent to a server?

No. The text repeater runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Nothing you type is uploaded, stored, or shared, so it is safe to use with private text.
